This is part two of a story about a man who went Narconon Rehab after battling an addiction to heroin for most of his adult life.

 

 

Robert began to make more and more money selling cocaine for Tom. After a couple of years of selling cocaine for him, Tom introduced Robert to some of the men that worked for the organized crime ring. Pretty soon Robert was taken in to the ranks and began working for some of the men directly. He started selling guns as well as cocaine.

Robert would work for his father in the music store as well. He started partying with one of the other employees there. They would use cocaine as well as pot together, but the guy did not know what Robert did to make all of his money. Robert said the guy was kind of a dead beat sort of hippy. He did not really have a lot of motivation, but Robert said that he was fun to hang out with sometimes. Robert said that he noticed that the guy would seem really high sometimes, but Robert could not tell what it was that he was doing. He also said that the guy’s arms always looked like a cat had scratched him, there was always long thin scabs all over them.

 

The more Robert hung out with the guy in the music store, the more he wondered what kind of drug the guy was doing that made him get so messed up. Finally he asked him. The guy said that he did heroin and it was a really good buzz. He said that it was better than any other high he had ever experienced and he could hook Robert up if he wanted.

 

At first Robert was scared to try it. He had seen junkies before, and they always looked really messed up. He also knew that if he got hooked on heroin, he would lose his position in the crime ring he was working with. They guy just always looked so messed up, that it started to get to Robert.

 

Finally Robert told the guy he wanted to try heroin. He just wanted to see what was making the guy feel so good. He gave him money and they guy went and got it. Robert snorted the heroin and said that he got hooked instantly. Robert was making a lot of money at the time and he said that the heroin did not make him not want to work the way that he though it might.

 

 

In the meanwhile, Robert started dating this girl. After being together for a month, she told him that she had missed her period and Robert was the only man she was seeing at the time. By this time Robert was twenty and he said that he was not ready to settle down with one girl, but he would do whatever he could to help her with the baby when she had it. He also started seeing her sister but did not tell her that. By the time the girl went into labor, Robert was locked up in jail and was not there to witness his son’s birth. He had been arrested for possession of cocaine with intent to deliver and he got eight months in jail time and three years parole.

 

By the time he got out he decided that he was not going to use heroin anymore. He said that when he was not messed up, his instincts were really good. He said that the reason that he got locked up was because he had been really high at the time of his arrest and was being sloppy. He said while he was in jail, he came to the conclusion that when he got out he was going to focus on his work with the crime ring and not use any drugs anymore, except cocaine occasionally.

 

 

When Robert got out, he went to his bosses to see if they had any work for him to do. They were very grateful that he had not turned them in and gave him another job to do. This one was picking up a shipment of guns and delivering them to a customer. Robert was going to make a lot of money.

 

The job went down successfully and Robert got a large amount of cash for it. He was feeling good and decided he wanted to have some fun. He called the sister of the girl he had gotten pregnant and asked if she wanted to do something. She said she would love to and Robert picked her up. He really liked this girl and she really liked him as well. After a while, things got pretty serious and they started seeing each other all the time. Robert would occasionally go and see the mother of his child and his son, but most of his time was spent working and taking out his new girlfriend.

 

 

Robert did pretty well on parole for while and was able to stay out of trouble for the most part. He continued to date the girl he started seeing when he got out of jail and after a couple years of being together, she announced she was pregnant. He told her that he would take care of her and he wanted to stay together. She was very happy about that and things continued to proceed smoothly for a while.

One day however, this changed. It was a Saturday afternoon and Robert was at home watching television when his girlfriend called. She had gone to the mall with a friend and was calling from a payphone. She was really freaked out. She said that she and her friend had taken some tapes from the music store and the owner called the police. She said that the cops were giving her a really hard time and asked Robert if he would come down to the mall to help her. He drove up and asked to cops why they were bothering his girlfriend. The cops cussed at him and told him to mind his own business. Robert decided that the cops were not going to talk to him that way in front of his girl and punched one of them in the face.
